Child immunisations
We strongly recommend that all children are immunised according to the nationally recommended standard schedule.
The current child immunisation schedule is:
Two months old
Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio vaccine and Hib (DTaP/IPV/Hib) as one injection
Pneumoccocal (PCV)
Three months old
Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio vaccine and Hib (DTaP/IPV/Hib) as one injection
Meningitis C (MenC)
Four months old
Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio vaccine and Hib (DTaP/IPV/Hib) as one injection
Pneumoccocal (PCV)
Meningitis C (MenC)
At around 12 months
Hib and meningitis C one injection
At around 13 months

3 to 5 years (pre-school)
Diphtheria, tetanus, acellular pertussis, inactivated polio vaccine (DTaP/IPV)
Measles, Mumps and Rubella (German Measles) (MMR)
