Please note we have taken the decision to close Bettws Health Centre so we can better protect our patients and staff from Coronavirus. We are currently only using the Bellevue Surgery site but we are reviewing this situation daily with other Newport GP Practices and Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, please do not come to the surgery unless you have a pre-arranged appointment. Open surgery is not currently available. Please phone us on 01633 256 337 to discuss your needs, our nurses are still triaging patients for Telephone Consultations with GPs and we are now offering Video Consultations when needed.
If you have a fever or new cough, the guidelines are to self-isolate for 7 days. Further information about self-isolation can be accessed via phw.nhs.wales. Patients who are concerned about coronavirus symptoms should visit nhsdirect.wales.uk. Newport City Council have created a COVID-19 website for local help and services as well useful local information, this can be found atNewport City Council Covid-19
To order repeat medication, order slips can be placed in the marked box outside the surgery. Please write your chosen chemist on your slip, and we will send your prescription directly to them so you do not need to collect it from the surgery. Alternatively, patients can phone the chemist
and ask them to order the medication on their behalf.
